LORA Gateways

Indoor and Outdoor Gateways

Sensorstream have a range of indoor and outdoor gateways that provide the connection from the sensor to the Internet.  This allows thousands of sensors to be connected to a single gateway.  Gateways can be easily deployed to cover local areas and if there are sensor coverage black spots then additional gateways can be deployed to fill the coverage gaps.  For extra resilience and availability additional gateways can be deployed.  In rural locations with good line of sight Sensorstream have tested sensors working at distances greater than 22km from the gateway.

Architecture

In the diagram to the right the gateway is shown at position 2 connecting the sensors to the network servers via a secure internet connection.  Indoor and outdoor gateways are available to suit every environment. The outdoor gateways can be pole or wall mounted.  Indoor gateways can be positioned on walls or mounted in the best location to provide maximum sensor coverage.
